Superstation sammelt Geschichten aus dem Alltag mobiler Menschen.
Wir wollten die Menschen, für die wir Stationen und Wartebereiche
entwickeln, persönlich kennenlernen. Wir wollten wissen, worüber
„People on the go“ berichten. In diesen sehr persönlichen
Mobilitäts-Portraits wird über das Unterwegssein, über Visionen,
Wünsche und heimliche Rituale beim Warten berichtet.
Die Details dieser Beschreibungen sind die „Bausteine“ der
Superstation – von surreal bis superreal – von den
unsichtbaren Startrampen , um sich um die halbe Welt
zu beamen bis zum Wandhaken für das Einkaufssackerl im
Wartebereich.
Der Blog wurde im Herbst 2016 im Rahmen des Forschungsprojekts New
Environments of Mobility gestartet.

Superstation collects stories from people on the go; stories they
experience in their everyday life. We want to talk and establish
a relationship with the people for whom we develop stations and waiting
areas. We want to know what they are thinking.
In these very personal mobility portraits, we discuss visions of
mobility, about being on the go and secret rituals of waiting.
These descriptive details are the building blocks of Superstation,
from the surreal to the pragmatic, from the launching pad, where
you can beam yourself from one place to another, to a hook on the
wall in the waiting area where you can hang your shopping bag.

The blog went online in October 2016 as part of the research project
New Environments of Mobility
